EDUCATION

- Quality education and safety in our schools matter.

As a long-term member of the Legislature's Education Committee, Mitch is committed to the fundamentals of a STEM education, focused on every child, regardless if they live in Newtown or any other part of the state.  He's been a leader in special education, believing that children who learn "differently" benefit for their entire lives with early detection and interventions before they fall behind.
